EMPLOYER CODE OF ETHICS
  • Member partners with and provides client (employer) with professional services that will enhance their abilities to achieve their hiring goals and objectives.
  • Member delivers to the client what was promised and is truthful in guiding, advising, and counseling employers in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Member performs all search assignments competently and proficiently with a high degree of responsiveness and urgency.
  • Member diligently researches and obtains pertinent information regarding candidates’ skills, experience, and education prior to submitting to clients.
  • Member sources quality candidates through multiple avenues in order to present clients with the best available options.
  • Member represents honestly, factually, and accurately client job openings, company, and candidate submittals at all times.
  • Member maintains strict confidentiality of proprietary data and information received or obtained through the client/recruiter relationship.
  • Member is honest and truthful regarding candidates they represent and will provide full disclosure all information that may cause the employer to make a poor hiring decision.
  • Member only presents to client the best candidate match based on the job opening and needs of the employer and hiring manager.
  • Member does not contact and solicit previous placements or employees at client companies in order to recruit for other clientele.
  • Member stays highly informed and knowledgeable of his or her respective industry, market, and hiring trends that will affect his or her clientele.

CANDIDATE CODE OF ETHICS
  • Member provides job seeker (candidate) with services that will enhance their ability to achieve employment goals regardless of race, color, nationality, creed, religion, age, sex, or physical handicap.
  • Member is cognizant of candidate's needs and compassionate in providing advice and services in meeting their specific new job and career goals.
  • Member represents honestly and factually client job openings, company information, and other information that would be considered important by the candidate.
  • Member maintains strict confidentiality with every candidate, revealing information only upon verbal or written authorization by the candidate.
  • Member does not contact a candidate's current or past employer or manager without verbal or written authorization.
  • Member conducts recruiting activities with integrity and objectivity and avoids conduct that is misleading or deceptive.
  • Member does not accept payment for job search related services or other consultative assistance to individuals seeking employment.
  • Member follows up with candidates by updating and giving feedback on relevant matters such as the status of a job opening, interview, offer, and employer and hiring manager feedback.
  • Member does not advertise job openings that are misleading or for the purpose of collecting candidates for future placement efforts.
  • Member provides all relevant information regarding the employer, position, and compensation package to best prepare the candidate for informed decision making.
  • Member will properly maintain files and documentation obtained from candidates so as to remain confidential and secure.
