Job Advertising Winner: Simply Hired

Finally, in a time when recruiting budgets are tight, HR is under the gun to produce, and recruiting options are plentiful there is some good news for employers and recruiters seeking to attract those difficult candidates hiring managers love to see. We have a clear winner in the pay-per-click / PPC advertising arena, Simply Hired.

What's PPC? I thought you would never ask. Pay-per-click advertising is an easy little method to attract candidates. With pay-per-click, a company gets its jobs indexed / posted on a job aggregator's website. Once the jobs are on the site, employers then have the option to get a lot more exposure for them by sponsoring the job(s). Sponsoring jobs places the company's jobs on top of the search results when a job seeker runs a search. When a job seeker clicks the job, the company pays a small "pay-per-click" amount, let's say 15-30 cents. It's your choice. Pretty simple stuff, really.

Obviously, if you have many jobs to sponsor, that small amount can add up so you want to make sure you are getting the best return on your investment. I have used both Simply Hired and Indeed, the two largest, and I have found the hands down winner is Simply Hired. Basically, it boiled down to this. I received many more job seekers clicking my sponsored jobs at a lower price per click with Simply Hired as compared to Indeed. Breaks down like this. More Job Seekers + Lower Click Price = Happy Budget.

Also, I am always willing to pay for some extra service with a company, but in this case, I receive great service and a better deal. Simply Hired is staffed with professionals who understand employers and recruiter's needs. If you are new to PPC job advertising they will walk you through it and give you some nice pointers to maximize your recruiting dollar. Nice job Simply Hired.
